After winning the Subaru Cup Pro XCT in Wisconsin on Saturday, Canadian Max Plaxton (Specialized) holds a 60-point lead over teammate Todd Wells in USA Cycling’s national series.
While third-place Sam Schultz (Subaru-Trek) may not have much chance to overtake Plaxton or Wells, the series finale is in his hometown Missoula Montana XC on July 23 and he’ll be gunning for the top podium spot for sure.
Meanwhile, U23 rider Stephen Ettinger (BMC MTB Development) is surging up the standings in fourth place overall.
In the women’s rankings, Luna Pro Team rider Georgia Gould’s win at the Subaru Cup moved her ahead of Lea Davison (Specialized) on the leaderboard.
Emily Batty (Subaru-Trek) is 180 points behind Davison in third place. Chloe Forsman (BMC MTB Development) and Krista Park (Cannondale-No Tubes) round out the top five.
