Brake mount
The Blur TRc features the same brake mount system seen on Santa Cruz's other frames, which is carbon with aluminum inserts. Photo by Zach White
Don’t feel bad for Zach White as he wanders the desert, ’cause he’s out there doing so on two wheels with the Santa Cruz Bicycles crew. Connectivity in the outback is iffy, but ZW managed to file this dispatch from somewhere in Utah. Stay tuned for more…

Offset lower linkage
New offset lower linkage allows the Blur TRc to accept chainguides. This design will trickle into other Santa Cruz frames down the road, too. Note the new zert fittings that have been tucked out of harms way. Photo by Zach White

Blur TRc
Weighing in at a mere 24.06lbs for a medium without pedals, the new 5-inch travel Blur TRc is a great option for riders who feel a Blur LT may be too heavy, but still want more travel than the Blur XC. Photo by Zach White
