On Tuesday evening Donald Loomis’ Snowride Phat Phat-Tire Photo had tallied the most votes in the Singletrack.com reader-submitted photo contest from February. The winner was announced on the site and the poll turned off.

Or so we thought. The poll actually didn’t get turned off. Seems an extra step in the process wasn’t completed and the voting continued into Wednesday morning.  In an overnight surge, Matt Walters’ Nomad photo took the lead.

When the poll was shut down (this time for sure) Nomad had 483 votes to Snowride’s 455.

We’ll send both Donald and Matt some Singletrack.com schwag for their efforts and our error. But for shifts and giggles, we’ve put the two photos head-to-head to see which one really is the Phattest of the Phatties.
