Thought we forgot, didn’t ya? Nope. The announcement of the phirst phat phat-tire photo contest winner was a little delayed due to minor technical difficulties (Like receiving a shipment of swag).

Nonetheless, we are pleased to announce that Joe McManus is the winner of the October installment of the reader-submitted photo contest. Out of 30 entries in October, Singletrack.com staff narrowed the picks down to five. Then it was up to Singletrack.com readers to pick a winner. Out of 450 votes cast for the five finalists in our online poll, Joe’s phat photo tallied 176 votes.

Joe will receive some fine Singletrack.com couture as soon as we get it in from Paris (um, that’d be Paris, Texas) and a top-secret VIP code for Departmentofgoods.com that we can’t really talk about lest we off ourselves.
