Pick a Winner: Phat Phat-tire Photos

Art, they say, is in the eye of the beholder. It’s also said there’s no accounting for taste. With that in mind, the crack staff (no, we’re not on crack) at Singletrack.com culled the 30-strong, reader-submitted entries in the October “Phat Phat-tire Photo” contest down to five.
Now it’s up to you all, the readers, (with or without eyes and/or taste) to pick the winner. We went with a few criteria for choosing the top-five photos, including straight-up scenic wonder, composition of the photo, “whoa!” factor and the nebulous “a picture with a bike and singletrack in it says a thousand words.”
Or it just came down to looking at a photo and feeling the urge to go out and ride.
Of course, your individual results may vary. Just arrive at a result and then vote in the poll below the photos. The winner will receive not only some nifty Singletrack.com schwag but at least 1 minute and 36 seconds of fame.
And keep those phat phat-tire photos (arty-pharty optional) coming in for the November contest. Send photos and video to jbate@competitorgroup.com.
